The climate in Amsterdam is very similar to the weather conditions in London. The monthly weather averages are between 1 and 2 degrees (Celsius) below the British capital and it rains a little more than in the south of the United Kingdom.

Summer in Amsterdam

In June, July and August, the warmest months of the year, the average low temperatures are between 10ºC (51.4ºF) and 13 ºC (55.4ºF). During these months, the average highs are around 20ºC (68ºF) and 22ºC (71.6ºF). It also rains less in summer than the rest of the year.

Most travelers visit Amsterdam between June and September, since it rains less and the climate is more agreable than in winter. Visitors who decide to see the city during these months will find the streets packed with people.
